Whether you are a student, a journalist, or an informed citizen, I will provide you with resources to improve your understanding of the climate and, most importantly, on enacting climate policies.
Podcasts
Race Against Climate Change goes deep down into Canada's Net Zero plan. It underlines where we are and where we should go regarding climate policies.
Invested in Climate is my personal favourite. We tend to focus so much on the policies that we forget that the private and nonprofit sectors will do the bulk of the energy transition. It put forth inspiring entrepreneurs along their business model.
The energy transition has grown in complexity, and I felt my knowledge was stagnating. This podcast expands my understanding with each episode, thanks to Liebreich, one of the most knowledgeable voices I've heard. I highly recommend his talk on hydrogen at Imperial College London.
Newspapers
Bloomberg green is an outstanding source of information. This is perhaps the best high-level article ever written on the energy transition.
I highly recommend this insightful piece as it gives hope, yet, remain realistic. Solution-wise, this three-part series examining the speed, challenges and the politics of the energy transition is GREAT.
Surprisingly, Climate Capital from the Financial Times may arguably be the best source for information on the energy transition
Books
Akshat Rathi highlights key players driving the energy transition, from ambitious national policies to the influence of billionaires like Bill Gates. It covers the history and insights of the energy transition, offering both a hopeful outlook and motivation. Highly recommended as an entry-level or motivational read.
The best book to understand the grand narrative around globalization and why we are seeing such a push into industrial policies, such as Inflation Reduction Act, Infrastructure Act or CHIPS act.

Getting Involved
Knowledge is one thing, but enacting action requires more than understanding the physiological and socio-economical challenges of climate change.
It requires actions—social movements, to be more exact.

Student Energy provides students with the project and puts them hands-on with the renewable energy challenge of our era. It is a fabulous extracurricular affair that will make you interact with like-minded folk and, most likely, obtain a well-paid job aligned with your values.
Re_Generation is students and young professionals leading an organization that works towards building a Canadian community to enact climate action. They provide training, a slack community and perform policy advocacy.
Advocacy
Climate Action Network gathers more than 140 leading Canadian NGOs working for action on climate change. Its the perfect place to take a look if you want to get involved according to your values.
Climate Citizen Lobby is the world's most influential climate organization. An excellent muscle power demonstration is the 200 000 calls they performed amid the Inflation Reduction Act.

As a board member of Équiterre I am slightly bias but I think it's the most influent NGO to enact climate action in Canada.
